Weekend Events: July 14th Edition


Happy Thursday Eastie!  We have lots of things to do and get ready for! Don’t forget that Eastie Week is also happening so check the flier to see what is in store!

The Walk of Peace is starting every Thursday starting Today, July 13th and starts at 6pm. This walk is meant to build strength in relationships, character. And community to stop violence especially violence that affects families. This will be at 69 Paris Street


Cooking with Miss Debbie at the East Boston Library on July 13th from 4-6pm is a fun time for teens and kids to cook up some tasty treats!


Summer Meals for Kids and teens July 13th gives teens and kids free meals hosted by Veronica Robles Cultural Center. Breakfast is at 10am and lunch will be at 1pm.


Join us this summer season for the Summer Patio Party: Grill Kabobs and moonshine fabulous food & drink tastings! No need to purchase a ticket ahead of time, however we do recommend that you make a reservation for a table. This is happening July 13th 6-9pm at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor.


Join us for an evening of music, dancing and fun as we celebrate Eastie Week! Sponsored by CB Unlimited and El Mundo. This event is called Velada Latina starting today at 5:30-8pm at the East Boston Library.


Celebrate Eastie Week with an evening of music and dance. For the Velada Latina and Latin Soiree.Join us by the reading porch for a dance performance by Coral Polifonica Julio Franco, enjoy up and coming reggaeton artist, Villa LF. , and then dance merengue, bachata and cumbia to music from the Legacy Band.

On July 14th Boston Bike Party: Under The Sea (East Boston Start!)Join us as we leave the mainland in a tidal wave of bikes, music, & dancing as we dive deep into the underwater world. We’ll leave behind a trail of bubbles, laughter, and contamination free party stops. This will take place from 7:30-11:30pm at Lopresti Park.


Join Classes for a Cause this Saturday, July 15th from 12:00-1:00pm as we flow for a cause! This class is donation based and all proceeds will be donated to the Eastie Village Family Association at East Boston Barre and Yoga.


Celebrate the reopening of BCYF Paris Street Community Center after a two year, $12 million renovation! On July 15th from 12:00 pm - 02:00 pm.


The RBA Dragons, a non profit organization is holding its first tryouts for the 9U and 10U travel team to play in the New England AAU Tournaments and Spring League 2018 (April/May/June).

Try outs begin July 15th from 1-2:30pm held at Paul Revere 395 Revere St.


Saturday July 15, 2017, 10am - 1pm Remain Reclaim Rebuild Platform Launch and Candidate Convo brings Right to the City Boston Launches it's 2017 Platform. Together renters, homeowners, low wage workers, people of color, immigrants, and many others affected by the displacement crisis will stand together and make public our demand for change!


Join Zumix on July 16th in Piers Park for free concerts on the water every Sunday until August 28th starting at 6pm *July 23 is the Salsa/Latin concert which will start at 4:30pm.*


At Prenatal Yoga explore pregnancy-specific yoga sequences and postures, while providing options for modifications and variations that will help you find more comfort as your baby grows and your body changes at The Point EB 20 Orleans Street every Tuesday at 4:30-5:30pm July 18th


On July 18th Preschool Movies will be shown for kids at the East Boston Library from 10:30-11am.


Historic New England invites students to explore the diverse architecture of Boston this Summer from a modern glass skyscraper to a seventeenth century wooden house on July 19th from 3-4pm at the East Boston Library.

Expert instructor Theresa of LEGIT.yoga will lead free yoga sessions this Summer at the East Boston Library for Summer Yoga on the Green on July 20th at 6:30-7:30pm.
