Weekend Events: June 8th Edition

The Fair Foods $2 Bags of Produce will be available at the EBNHC from 2:30-4pm. Remember, this is a first-come, first-serve, CASH ONLY event.
The East Boston EEC is hosting a Spring Family Celebration fundraiser starting at 5pm. There will be a silent auction, raffles, great food, face painting, music and more!
Calling all Eastie dads! EVFA is hosting their next Dad’s Night Out at Cunard Tavern starting at 7pm.
ZUMIX is hosting their 2nd Annual Boston Radio for ZUMIX from 8-11pm. The party will include a performance by a ZUMIX youth band, a silent auction, free tasty treats, a cash bar and programming by the honored guests.
There will be a technology showcase at the library (outside) from 9:30am-3:00pm on Saturday, June 9th. Curious George will be visiting between 10:30am-2:30pm!
There is a tour of the Nantucket Lightship/LV-112 from 10-11am. Those who registered are to meet at the end of the Pier at the Marina.
The next $5 community class at The Point EB is from 12-1pm.
The next Yu-Gi-Oh club for teens at the library is from 1-4pm.
The next food and writing workshop at the library will meet from 2:30-4:30pm.
The next Fresh Truck Food (Mobile) Market will be down Maverick Square from 3-6pm on Monday, June 11th.
The next ESL and computer skills class for BPS parents is at the YMCA from 10am-12:30pm on Tuesday, June 12th. This will also meet on Wednesday.
The next Recycled Art Workshop is from 11am-1pm.
There is a Suffolk Downs Impact Advisory group meeting from 6-8pm.
The next Wednesday night Zumba class at the Marty Pino Gym will run from 6:30-7:30pm on June 13th.
There is a community meeting regarding 107 Porter Street at 7:15pm at the Paris St Gym.
The next computer training workshop for teens will meet on Thursday, June 14th, at the EBSC. This will run from 4-6pm and teens ages 17-20 are welcome to attend.
The next Namastay Sober community class will run from 5:15-6:15pm at The Point EB.
The next Power of Parenting Workshop begins at 5:30pm at the EBSC. This is aimed for parents who have children ages birth-3 years.
