Weekend Events: March 2nd Edition
Ahh, a not-so-happy Friday out there, Eastie! Hoping everyone stays safe and dry during this storm! Today’s events may be postponed, but check out what else is going on this weekend.
The Fair Foods $2 Bags of Produce will be available at the EBNHC from 2:30-4pm. Remember, this is a first-come, first-serve, CASH ONLY event.
The Point EB is hosting Reiki Circle tonight from 7:15-8:15pm.
Tomorrow, March 3rd, The Point EB is joining with Chelsea Station (in Chelsea) and hosting a yoga and brunch event.
The next $5 community class at The Point EB are from 12-1pm.
The library hosts a Yu-Gi-Oh club for teens every Saturday from 1-4pm.
Maverick Marketplace Cafe is hosting a fundraiser for the displaced victims of the Havre Street fire. The event kicks off at 3pm and will run all day, featuring different musicians and entertainment!
Calling all artists! The Biennial Project is hosting The Boston Biennial 5 this year. Head to Atlantic Works Gallery to find out more or enter your work.
The newest exhibit, Thin Places, is on display at Atlantic Works Gallery through the end of March. The opening reception is from 6-9pm.
The HVNA’s monthly meeting is on Monday, March 5th, at 7pm.
Harbor City School is hosting a paint and lettering night from 7:30-10pm at the Porter Street Lofts.
A six-week prenatal yoga series starts on Tuesday, March 6th at The Point Eb. This will run from 7:15-8:15pm each week.
Boston City Councilor Lydia Edwards is hosting a social on Wednesday, March 7th, from 6-8pm at La Hacienda.
The next Wednesday night Zumba class at the Marty Pino Gym will run from 6:30-7:30pm.
The next new moms breakfast starts at 10am on Thursday, March 8th.
The Phantom Gourmet will be at Meridian Street Market starting at 11am.
The next Namastay Sober community class will run from 5:15-6:15pm at The Point EB.
There will be a Community Preservation Forum at the high school from 6-8pm. This is a great opportunity to come together with the neighbors in developing proposals to preserve Eastie.
